Pamela Gates, MA, LPC, LCDC, ADCIII, Clinical Director

Pam has 25 years of experience in the substance abuse and mental health fields and has provided a broad range of services to adolescents, adults and families. She has worked in both outpatient and inpatient treatment settings as a clinician, supervisor and manager, and has been in private practice for about 6 years. Pam has experience working with emotional, behavioral and substance abuse issues, and has particular expertise in helping individuals and families successfully cope with adolescent substance abuse, adolescent and adult addiction recovery, eating disorder assessment and treatment. Pam is an EMDR level II trained therapist.


Genna Vinson, MA, LPC, Director - Intervention Services

Genna has been in the addiction/mental health field for 25 years. She has extensive experience in the management of mental health and substance abuse prevention, intervention, and treatment programs. Her experience includes: developing and providing treatment and prevention programs for the U.S. Military Schools in Europe, opening three mental health clinics in Texas and New Mexico, and served as the director of a non profit agency. She specializes in counseling and screening for substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and attention deficit disorder in adults, adolescents, and their families. Currently, Genna is serving as an adjunct faculty member at St. Edward’s University.

Angela Carey, LPC-Intern

 

Angela is a school counselor who has worked with adolescents in education for seven years.  Angela has experience helping youth with conflict resolution, responsible behavior, goal setting, and self esteem.  In addition, she has helped families in crisis and provided individual counseling.  Angela is a college graduate from Texas State University with a Masters of Education in Counseling and Guidance. 

 

Vicki Ray, MA LPC

 

 

Vicki is a Licensed Professional Counselor whose career started in the corporate world where she worked in a variety of functions for nearly 20 years.  Over time, she was drawn to working with individuals in transition on a more personal level and became a therapist.  Vicki has a Masters in Counseling from St. Edward’s University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.  As a counselor, Vicki has extensive experience in Chemical Dependency, Dual Diagnosis, and Mood Disorders (depression, anxiety and bipolar).  She has worked with adults, adolescents, families and groups in both inpatient and outpatient settings, on crisis hotlines and in private office settings.    Additionally, she provides psychoeducational training for clients and other counselors.  Vicki is currently in training for her EMDR certification.
